News and Updates

  • Easter Egg-Stravaganza Thank You!

The Jefferson Memorial Park Advisory Council would like to thank all the children and their parents who participated at our Annual Eater Egg Hunt. We had an EGG-Cellent turnout this year, with lots of families enjoying the day. There were numerous prizes given for those who traded their plastic egg shells and the Easter Bunny made a surprise appearance to take photos with all of the families!

  • Events are Coming Back to the Park!

Welcome back to Jefferson Memorial Park! After the events of 2020 and 2021, we are ready to (carefully) get back in the swing of things!

We have a new slate of events for the spring and summer, and soon we will be watching movies, playing games, and sitting on Santa's lap.

    Join us, or volunteer!

  • New Playlot Surface and Sidewalk Improvements

Soft surface repairs were performed on the Jefferson Memorial Park playlot, as well as ongoing replacements and improvements to the sidewalks on Long Ave., which will help residents and visitors.

Please Donate! Your donation will go toward helping to improve the condition of the park (from fixing blighted common areas and infrastructure to adding improved walking areas and equipment), creating events for the neighborhood to enjoy (movies in the park, holiday events, pet events), and helping to promote safe and clean usage of the park by everyone in the area.
